Ajlal started his acting career at the age of 7 by performing in the famous PTV Punjabi drama series “Ajj Dee Kahani” in 1988. In the early 90’s appeared in over 50 episodes of the Musical Program “Aangan Angan Taray”.
He got recognition as an actor from his character as Imran in the drama serial Ainak Wala Jin. The play was written by A Hameed and was directed by Hafeez Tahir. The serial was also the longest drama serial of PTV. AWJ has been re-telecasted on PTV several times. During the ’90s, Ajlal has been part of several individual drama series and teleplays, including memorable plays like Mirza Ghalib & Quaid e Azam.
He has been performing on Radio Pakistan since 1994 as an actor and hosted several radio shows as a child artist. Ajlal has been a regular member and an active performer of Ajoka Theatre Pakistan since 1996. He has worked in several productions of Ajoka Theatre as an actor, stage manager, and event coordinator.
Ajlal has worked as a news producer/editor & presenter for Vectone News and hosted several TV shows for various UK South Asian channels in the UK. He has also performed in a movie “International Lutteray” in 1996 and has recently had a guest appearance in Neeru Bajwa’s “Beautiful Billo”.
Ajlal has been part of the Radio Faza family since January 2000. Since then, he has hosted many special shows and brought big names of the Pakistan Showbiz industry onto the airwaves of Nottingham including, Qavi Khan, Sohail Ahmed Azizi, Asim Bukhari, Honey Albela, Munib Iqbal (Grandson of Allama Iqbal), Sohail Salamat, and many more.
Besides radio, Ajlal is a qualified career coach and working full time as a careers coach.
